L'oreal Telescopic Mascara| Review

This mascara has been around for a while but I only recently decided to purchase this. I found out about this mascara a while ago from Vivianadoesmakeup and I instantly fell in love with her lashes, they look absolutely amazing. I also saw Bethany (MacBarbie07) show it in her April Favourites video but the one she has is the Shocking extensions mascara. This mascara has a lot of different types but I decided I would go with the Telescopic Clean Definition because it is the one Viviana uses. I went for the waterproof one because I just prefer waterproof to normal mascaras so. I purchased this at Target and at the time they were having sales so I got it for $20 but it usually retails for $29 (woo saved $9!! yay).

This is what the tube looks like:
This mascara is supposed to length and precise separation of your lashes. It claims to give you cleanly defined and well separated lashes also giving you up to 60% longer looking lashes and also make each lash look more intense.

This is what the brush looks like:
This brush is flexible and helps coat all your lashes easily.

No Mascara:

2 coats of the L'oreal Telescopic:

I find that this mascara lives up to everything it says. It definitely added length to my lashes and the more coats you add on the longer and more intense looking they become. This mascara does clump a little bit but that is how they look more intense, it isn't a bad clump.. if that makes sense. I love how this separates my lashes and I find that the brush is very good for getting between each individual lash. I was really scared of this brush to start with because all the other mascara's I own have big mascara brushes and this sort of affected my decision to buy it just because the last mascara I owned with a similar brush was complete rubbish, I don't remember what it was called but it did literally nothing for my lashes. Also I am a very high believer of Maybelline Mascaras, all of the mascaras I have from them have done wonders for my lashes and I was very uncertain on other brands. However, I thought I would give this one a go and I am very pleased that I did.
This is a very good investment and it is definitely my favourite mascara right now. I am very pleased with this product and I would honestly say it is one of the best mascaras I have ever used. I would definitely recommend that you try this product, especially if you have short, stubby asian eyelashes like i do.

Hair Care Routine

I am a very picky person when it comes to hair. I don’t really style it that much or do anything really special to it but I always have to have it nice and soft and healthy looking. These are the products I use in my hair and I wash my hair every second day so yeah here they are:

Hydrating Macadamia Oil Shampoo, Conditioner, Intense Moisture Mask and Dry Styling Oil.

I love these products because they make my hair sosososososososo soft and it makes my hair shiny and looking really healthy, it is quite pricey retailing from around $20 for each product but they last me a really long time even though I use a big amount of it. I am a crazy conditioner person, I go through conditioners so quickly because I use a lot of it. My hair is really dry and it gets really tangled if I don't use a lot of conditioner and I really love this one as it leaves my hair so smooth and soft.

The Intensive Moisture Mask is my favourite hair mask ever. I haven't really tried many hair masks as I only recently got into them but this one is really moisturising and I find that my hair looks more healthy when I use this. What you do is you towel dry your hair and then apply this to your hair, then you leave it in for 3 minutes and then wash it out, quick and simple! On the bottle it says you can leave it on for 20 minutes if you have extremely dry hair, I tend to do this anyway because I like to use this time to apply a face mask or something so I can have nice moisturised and healthy looking hair and face in just 20 minutes! I have done a blog post on my favourite face masks so I will link that below.

The Dry Styling Oil is like my baby. I use this every night and you can use it with dry or wet hair. It works the same as moroccan oil but I couldn't find that anywhere so I picked up this one because it was the same brand as all my other hair products so why not? haha.
I find that since I've been using this my hair has a lot less split ends. Before I used this my split ends were crazy like I can't even explain how bad my split ends were, my split ends had split ends. But after using this I hardly ever get split ends anymore! This also helps keep my hair hydrated and it just makes my hair really really soft and nice to touch. It is good for detangling and it smells really really good! haha.

This would probably have to be my most favourite product ever.
The Batiste Dry Shampoo. I bought this because I saw Bethany a.k.a MacBarbie07 from YouTube use this in one of her favourites videos I think (or maybe it was a haul video I don't remember). But I was going on school camp the next week and in camp we were only allowed one shower for the whole week....... So I wanted to get this for camp so my hair wouldn't be all crazy and greasy and yuck so I picked this up (then we found out we weren't allowed to bring aerosol cans to camp. boooo). I picked up the floral and flirty scent because the only other ones they had were the original one, which smelt like nothing, and one called 'Wild'.... I didn't really know what Wild was meant to smell like so I was kind of scared to get it. But this is probably the best smelling thing in the world, I sometimes just spray this in my hair so I can smell it. But this is the only dry shampoo I have ever tried and there are probably other good ones out there but I am happy with this one and I have tried a lot of their other scents as well (they all smell sooo good). I use this on the days that I don't wash my hair as my hair gets really greasy and disgusting when I don't wash it. I find it really helps my hair as it takes all the oils out of my hair and it just makes it really soft and smell really good. I also like this because it gives you a lot of volume which I love because I am not a big hair styling person so I just like having my hair out and this gives it a really nice look. I will never discontinue this.

So yeah these are the products I use on my hair I am looking to try new products as these products are quite expensive....
But anyways I hope you enjoyed reading this!

Lush Shopping!

I recently went to Lush and I was so excited because it is one of my favourite shops ever and I hadn’t been for sooooo long and I was in desperate need of a pamper evening. I didn’t get too much stuff because I only had $20 with me. But I got these two bath bombs and a lip scrub.

This is the dragon egg bath bomb, I saw this in Zoella’s pamper video which I will link here:

I was instantly in love with this bath bomb and I had to try it. It looks really cool when you put it in your bath as you can see in Zoe's video and I was amused by all the different colours that dissolves into in the water. It smells really good too. And it was only $5.95!

The next one I got was the Dorothy bath bomb which was also $5.95.  I thought it was really cute with the little rainbow on it. This smells sooo good and I am in love with this one. I’ve had this bath bomb before and it is one of my ultimate favourites. This creates soooooo many bubbles you wouldn’t believe it and it is just a really nice bath bomb.

The last thing I got was this lip scrub which was $9.95. I don't really have a reason for purchasing this, I just saw it and it looked really yummy for some reason so I got it and I've never actually used a lip scrub so I wanted to give this one a try.
I used it as soon as I bought it and it actually tastes sooo nice. I'm a really big lip person, I cannot stand not having nice soft and moisturised lips and this really helps with exfoliating (obviously, it's a lip scrub) and I am just really loving this so far.

I love bath bombs because they make your skin feel super nice and soft after you come out. Lush is my absolute favourite place to get Bath Bombs because all their products are made of natural products. I love pamper evenings and always love trying new products. If you have any requests of any products you want me to review please leave a comment below and tell me some of your favourite pamper evening essentials because I really want to try something new!

Best and Worst Face Masks!

Can I just say I am a HUUUUUUGE Face Mask Freak. I love them sooooo much. The way they make your skin feel after you've taken them off and when you have applied them and they are drying and you cant move your face, I find that so much fun. I probably would use them everyday if I could. But anyways I decided that out of my growing collection of face masks I would show you some of the best and worst and give you a bit of a review about them!

(from left to right: Sukin Purifying Facial Masque, AHAVA Purifying Mud Mask for oily skin, Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure, Formula 10.0.6 3 in 1 Blackheads Wash+Scrub+Mask)

Worst:

  • Sukin Purifying Facial Masque
  • This is probably my least favourite face mask because it does absolutely nothing for my skin. I feel like I have given it a fair run but it just doesn't work for me. This mask is supposed to help cleanse, tone and de-stress your skin leaving it clean, nurtured and energised. I didn't feel like it did any of those things. It literally felt like I slapped cream on my face. It doesn't harden when it's dry which in my opinion takes away the fun of it (I don't know why but I love not being able to move my face haha its fun to me). I don't really know why I picked it up I was just on the hunt for a new one and it said it was suitable for all skin types and it is all organic. I don't really know if its just my skin or something but it just didn't work for me.
  • AHAVA Purifying Mud Mask
  • This face mask is supposed to be deep-acting, highly absorbent puriier, roots our grime and black heads, clarifying acne-prone skin. I particularly like this mask because you only have to leave it on for 2 minutes to achieve the best results. It really does help my skin and has an immediate effect, I see a huge difference in my black heads as soon as removing this mask and it just leaves my skin sooo super soft and I think it is just so amazing. It definitely leaves my skin feeling soft and clean and moisturised. I don't find that it helps with clarifying acne-prone skin but it is still an awesome face mask (it is also a muddy-green colour and makes me feel like Shrek hehe).
  • Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure
  • This mask has strawberry and yarrow in it and is supposed to refine your skin and work on clogged pores and eliminate impurities whilst clarifying skin for instant complexion perfection. I find that this definitely helps with pores and you can instantly see a difference as soon as you remove it. You don't really see a difference with impurities as soon as you take it off but the next morning you definitely see a major difference in your complexion. This mask makes your skin feel soooo nice and soft and moisturised. It is really nice to apply and smells a lot like strawberries!
  • Formula 10.0.6 3 in 1 Blackheads Wash+Scrub+Mask
  • This mask claims that it will remove blackheads and excess oil, unclog pores and eliminate blemishes. It has pink grapefruit which is supposed to help cleanse whilst the jojoba exfoliates. It works as a wash, scrub and mask all in one and gives you the complete complexion overhaul. I bought this because I enjoyed the Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure mask so much and decided to give another Formula 10.0.6 mask a go and I picked up this one. With this mask you can definitely see a difference in your complexion in an instant. It definitely helps with reducing blemishes as soon as you remove it. It leaves your skin feeling so so so soft and I know I have said that about all of them but this one definitely leaves your skin feeling the most soft. It is also a very good cleanser and always leaves my skin feeling moisturised and healthy. I feel like it does a lot for my skin and after using it for a week all my blemishes were completely gone, not even joking my skin was completely clear (you are supposed to use it 3 times per week but I probably used it almost everyday lol).

Best:

This mask is hands down my favourite mask I have ever used! I will definitely continue to repurchase this and I will never discontinue it! I love it to death!

Autumn Style

Autumn Lookbook

Autumn is definitely my favourite season, I love the weather and I love the colours and style of everything. The fashion is amazing and I love how the trees look after their leaves have turned orange and are falling off. It's kind of depressing that my favourite season is when everything dies but honestly I find it really beautiful. The thing I love most is the whole beauty and fashion world all end up with the same style. The burgundy, mahogany, raspberry colours are just so pretty to me and I love seeing different peoples style in autumn. Everyone sticks to the same colours but puts their own twist on it with their own style which I love so much. This post doesn't really have a purpose. Just wanted to vent about how much I am in love with Autumn!
