Lush is my Happiness| Casssheww

It’s already April and could you believe I haven’t shopped at Lush at all this year? Bet you wouldn’t believe it, but it’s true. I received so much Lush products for Christmas that I didn’t need to purchase anything for a while, plus I’m not a big bather in the Summer/Spring months. but now its Autumn and I thought a visit to Lush was well overdue. So I’m coming to you today with a Lush haul.

This is the Sex Bomb Bath Bomb which was $6.75. This is my all time favourite floral Bath Bomb. It comes out a very nice pastel pink colour with a very nice calming floral and jasmine scent. The flower in the centre becomes soft as if there were actual flower petals floating in the bath.

This is the Honey Bee Bath Bomb which was also $6.75. It smells like caramel and honey which I really really love for the winter time. It has a similar smell to the Honey, I Washed The Kids soap and Soft Coeur massage bar. It also contains Moroccan rhassoul mud to deep cleanse and soften your skin. I've purchased this before and I remember loving it a lot but I can't exactly remember how I felt about it so I thought I would try it again. Also the best spas offer honey or mud baths on their menus which is included in this little bath bomb for about 1% of the cost. So it's really a win-win with this bath bomb, right?

Next thing I got was this Rosie gift set which retailed at $24.95. I got this as a little treat for myself just because I thought it would be nice to pamper myself a bit.

I've only used this product once so this is a first impression. The smell of this isn't amazing but it is pleasant which is always good. The formula is kind of a thick cream. It has a lot of different oils and butter which are very good and nourishing for the skin. It does a good job at moisturising and making the skin feel very soft. I really do enjoy this product.

Have you been to Lush recently? What was your favourite purchase?

 Thank you for reading!
Have a nice day :)

A Little Bit of Good| Cassshew

I know its been forever since I last posted and I apologise for that, I really do have no excuse but I just couldn't find anything worth blogging about and I just didn't have time. However, recently I have come across something really amazing and I had to share it. This isn't beauty or fashion related but this is something so mind blowing I couldn't keep it to myself.

Giving back has always been something I enjoy and feel very strongly about. I love charity work and helping out the community so when I found this amazing project I had to share.

Basically if you go onto tap.unicefusa.org you can help kids in third world countries get drinking water for a whole day, simply by not using your phone for 10 minutes. Easy! This literally requires so little effort that you just feel bad for not participating. All you have to do is leave your phone for 10 minutes and you give a child drinking water for a whole day. It really does make you feel good afterwards. This is being sponsored by a few companies only until the 31st March. I know this post is well overdue but I haven’t had the time to sit down and blog about it until now. There’s still a little time left to help out!

After I found out about this magnificent program I pretty much took every chance I could to help out. I would set my phone down and let the program do its thing. When I’m getting ready for school, studying, editing videos, watching TV, doing my makeup, just anything that doesn't require touching my phone is the perfect time to get involved. It is a smart way to get people to use their phones less and still feel good about it. I honestly feel bad when I am doing something and I dont have this program running. I will seriously be so devastated when this is comes to an end. I am currently using the program right now as i am typing this post! I highly recommend you use this even if it is just for 10 minutes. It really is such a good feeling knowing you have helped out.

Are you going to help out?

Thank you for reading!
Have a nice day :)

Spring/Summer Lip Must-Haves| Casssheww

I know in Australia it is the start of Autumn (which is my favourite season EVER) but it is still really hot and sunny so it is still the time to wear the summer and spring lip colours. I wanted to do this post before it was too late and it was cloudy and raining and spring and summer colours would just make you look insane. Also I know that a lot of my readers are from America and England (hello there) and they are starting to get into the warmer seasons.

I was thinking of doing these types of posts every season. I sort of classify summer and spring as one look and then autumn and winter as another with the slight differences but I just thought I would incorporate summer and spring together for this post.

Lip colours are probably my favourite makeup to buy. It is the thing I change up the most and I just love getting lipsticks because I’m not really picky with colours I just love all of them (which is kind of bad cause all my money is wasted on lipsticks but whatever).

First I wanted to go through lipsticks. These two lipsticks are Maybelline Colour Whispers which are like lipsticks but they are more sheer and light which is perfect for summer and spring.
40 Orange Attitude, 45 Who Wore it Red-er

I love orange lips for the warmer seasons because I just feel like orange is such a bright and fun colour. The red one looks really dark in the picture but it comes out as a more fuchsia pink than a red. At first this disappointed me because I was looking to buy a dark red but after a while I was alright with it because it was such a pretty colour.

The next products are both Lip Crayons which are becoming very popular recently. I am a big fan of these, mainly because I feel like a child colouring in my lips with a crayon. The texture of these two products are both very moisturising and the colour payoff is incredible.
Peach On the Beach, Manic Pink

The first one is from Bourjois which retailed at about $12-$15. The colour is an amazing bright peach colour which is always good for spring. The next one is more of a summer colour and it i from Boe Beauty. I was recommended this brand from a subscriber, so thank you to whoever it was! You can buy these from Big W for $2. This quality is amazing as well which is a massive win.

Next are lip glosses. These 3 are my favourite Summer/Spring colours in my collection.
Next Fad, Right Image

Papaya

The Mac Pro Longwear Lipglass is very long-lasting as told by the name. The formula is a little sticky but nothing too unmanageable. The Cremesheen is my favourite formula from Mac, it is quite moisturising and smooth on the lips. Both have a sheer colour to them. These were both gifts from a family friend so I’m not sure how much they are retailed for. (It’s late and I have school tomorrow I dont have time to do the research, sorry haha).

The next is a Revlon Colorburst. This is the only one I own from this range and it is fantastic (say that in an Australian accent, its quite amusing). This colour is my most worn colour in summer and I just love the name of it. These retail for about $15.

Last but not least are lip stains. Definitely an essential in summer. This one is from Covergirl and it is in the shade 435.

It looks dark in the tube… pen? I dont know what this is haha. But it comes out really sheer on the lips… or im just running out of product. It has become a summer staple as it is easy to apply and you don't have to worry about reapplying because it stains your lips. It’s so easy!

So I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope it has helped you in some way haha. I hope you are having a good time wherever you are and hope you are having good weather!

What are some of your favourite summer/spring lip colours?

Have a nice day :)
