Oops I did it again...| Casssheww

I did a cheeky thing.... I spent a lot of money.. again. Oops. To be fair I just finished my 2 weeks of exams and was in desperate need of retail therapy. Anyway, onto the things I bought...

I have wanted to try the Bare Minerals Original Foundation for quite some time. I picked this up at KIT Cosmetics I was colour matched by the girl at the makeup counter and she came to the conclusion that I was a 'Golden fair', although now I think it is too dark for me *sigh*. The reason I never purchased this before was I never thought I would get enough coverage from a mineral foundation (also it was quite expensive $45), however, lately I have been feeling like I want a lighter foundation. And this is perfect.
To accompany that I bought the Models Prefer Kabuki & Buffer brush. This was $24 which is quite expensive for models prefer but the quality and softness of this brush is quite amazing. I wanted a dense yet fluffy brush, similar to the Real Techniques Buffing Brush but less dense which is what I get with this brush. I could not be more happy with it.
Next I got the Origins Clear Improvements Mask which was $35. I saw this in one of Tanya Burr's hauls and was instantly persuaded. Damn you, Tanya! Joking, I am truly happy with this purchase, I may have to do a review on it soon...
I also went to a little boutique called 'Cheep' which as far as I know is only available in Perth. These necklaces were $10 each and I had bought one a few weeks ago that was identical to the clear crystal but it was pink. I fell in love with these when I first saw them and rushed to buy them.
Lastly, I had to go to Priceline.. of course. I bought an Australis Makeup Setting Spray, I have gone through bottles and bottles of these and it is by far my favourite setting spray, only $15, smells good (like turkish delights) and feels refreshing. Also, it's pink! How could you go wrong?
I also picked up an anatomicals body cleanser and it smells SOOO GOOD! And the little caption just makes me laugh.

Anyway, this concludes this haul.

The Hair of Dreams| Casssheww

Before everyone freaks out and criticises, this is a temporary colour. (Also excuse the cheesy title). I honestly have nothing against different coloured hair, in fact, I would dye my hair all the colours of the rainbow if I could! The only thing really stopping me is money and school. I, however, wanted to do something fun and exciting for a video for my Youtube Channel. The video was a Gemma Anne Styles Hair and Makeup Tutorial which is definitely my favourite video yet.

The hair was quite simple to achieve. The first thing I did was spray my whole head with the Batiste dry shampoo so it would make my hair a white kind of colour so that the other colours would show through better. I only did this because my hair is so dark. If I wanted a true pastel purple colour like Gemma's I would have had to bleach my hair which, for a temporary look, would have been disastrous. I then just took the blue colour and sprayed it in the roots of my hair and rubbed it in with my fingers. It comes out quite dark so I just sprayed in more dry shampoo to balance it out. I then took the purple and sprayed it over the rest of my hair and over the blue as well (I decided I didn't really like the blue haha). I used a combination of dry shampoo and my fingers to blend the colours together and make them dry quicker. Honestly, the quality of the Cinta Intense hairspray was amazing. It is really easy to apply and is so pigmented it even came out perfectly on my dark hair. It worked really well which impressed me. It still made my hair feel like straw and really crispy which wasn't nice but I don't think there is a cheap alternative to a coloured hair spray that makes your hair feel nice and soft. Overall, I was really happy with how the look turned out. If this post was kind of confusing to follow you can just watch my tutorial on how to achieve this look if you are interested or if you want to see how well these hairsprays work.

I honestly am so in love with the colour and wish that I could keep it permanent. I am hoping that someday when I finish school I will be brave enough to actually bleach my hair and dye it purple.

Are you brave enough to dye your hair a crazy colour? If so what colour what would it be?
