Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation Review| Casssheww

To be honest I've always known this product exits but I always seemed to walk past it because of its undesirable looking packaging. I re-discovered it because of one of my favourite Youtubers Gabby aka VelvetGh0st. She wore it in one of her vlogs and it looked AMAZING on her! However, I had no idea it was this same foundation that I had walked past and neglected because it has been revamped and repackaged. It looks like a totally new foundation. I picked it up from Coles for $17 and I am in love with it. It is my new Holy Grail foundation and I would chose it any day over my Nars Sheer Glow (although it is still a fab foundation and well worth its money).

This foundation not only looks good, stays on all day long and feels light but it is cheap as well! It claims to be sweat, heat and humidity proof which is very handy for the hot summer months ahead of us (for us Australians). It also has SPF 20. The coverage is a medium-high and very easily build able. I like using this with the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and applying it with stippling motions, I think this gives the best effect. It feels very light on the skin and blends very well. It smells good too!

Here's a little summary of this foundation + my rankings
Coverage: Medium-high 8/10
Price: $17 9/10
Packaging: ....eh. 6/10
However, the new packaging looks very nice!
Smell: 8/10!
Feeling: Light & fresh! 9/10
Lasting Power: All day! It claims to stay on for 25 Hours! 9/10
Overall Ranking: 10/10! I don't know if I am being too generous but I literally cannot find any faults with this foundation!

Have you tried this foundation? What do you think?

Moroccan Oil| Casssheww

This is going to be a short review. I don’t have much to say about this product because I am not a huge hair person and don’t know much of the technical things that happen, however, I just thought this product was too amazing not to blog about. This is definitely not a new launch, in fact it has been around for quite a while and as usual I am late to the train. The magnificent Moroccan Oil has been my hair saviour and I swear by it.

At first I thought this product was just a popular brand. There were heaps of products out there that retail for waaaaayyy less than $55 and include moroccan oil in their ingredients. I was convinced that this was just a brand name and other products with moroccan oil were just as good. Well I was wrong. This stuff is the amazing. Even though I had the mindset that this was not a magical product and any other hair oil would do the trick, I still had a bit of curiousness for this product. It was alluring.

Basically, I had a moment of desperation, I had just had highlights put in, which obviously involves bleach, and my hair was at its worst. I thought ‘you know what, nothing else is working, lets just go for it.’ I had never splurged on any hair product before this one. And I couldn't be happier. This is definitely worth the hype that I had missed out on. My hair was in seriously bad condition to the point where it just felt like straw. Within one use of this magical stuff and my hair had immediately improved. It was stronger, softer, shinier, healthier.. and the list goes on. Not to mention it smells good too (always a bonus). I don’t really know the technicalities of how it benefits your hair and how it makes it feel and look so amazing. But I can tell you the changes I’ve noticed with my hair. I feel like my hair has gotten stronger, shinier, more nourished and in turn it means my hair can grow longer and healthier. I haven't had a problem with it to be honest and it has absolutely saved my hair.

The only thing I don’t like about it is that it makes my hand oily.. which is a given since it is moroccan oil. Which you can’t really change. Im sorry for this really short review, I have no idea what I’m talking about when it comes to hair but as I said this product was too amazing not to blog about. It is also very late at night and I am supposed to be getting up early tomorrow so this is all I have time for. I have also done a video on my channel about my hair care routine if you would like to check it out you can click here

What is your hair saviour?
