Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque Review| Casssheww

As you all should know by now, I am a huge face mask fanatic. I love experimenting and trying out different products and seeing how they work on my skin. I have written a blog post on some of my favourite face masks which I will link here. But this mask, I would put as number one over all of them. I've had this product for a bit over a month now and I just want to say that I think I am in love. I have been thinking about doing this post for a while but I wanted to test it out for a month and see the benefits it did for my skin.

I purchased this when I was in Hong Kong even though Aesop is an australian brand, it was about $40 Australian Dollars which is quite pricey for a face mask as the other ones I have used have been no more than $20. So this is double the price of the face masks I would usually get. However, I wouldn't spend any less on it, this product is definitely worth what it costs and I would repurchase this over and over if I could.

The reason for me purchasing this was because ViviannaDoesMakeUp featured it in one of her monthly favourites videos and said the reason for her getting it was because she was getting red scab-like spots on her face that felt like she had stubble, I was experiencing the same problem so I decided I would try it out.

This mask is suited for all skin types and is aimed to remove impurities and refresh the skin. It is an anti-oxident clarifying mask that is designed for deep cleansing. It is recommended to be used twice a week but I used it probably ever other night just because I wanted quick results and wanted to clear my skin faster.

All you need is a thin layer of it and it works miracles on your skin. You just leave it on for 15 minutes and wash it off with cool water. After washing it off, my skin already felt 1000 times better, you can't really see a change in the impurities immediately, but the next morning is definitely a pleasant surprise.

When I purchased this masque, I was also given a sample of the Aesop Parsley Seed Exfoliator which I was instructed to either use on its own or mix with the cleansing masque. When I mixed it will the masque it felt just like a scrub, which I found unpleasant since I was so used to the smooth feel of the masque alone, but the results of these two products mixed together made me forget about those uncomfortable 15 minutes. My skin felt a lot more soft than it would if you used to masque alone, it also removed some of my blackheads!

My skin is not completely clear as it is now... that time of the month so I have gained some pesky little spots. However, before this very pleasant time of month (note the sarcasm), my skin had definitely improved from what it was a month ago.

I definitely want to repurchase this product if I can track down an Aesop store in Perth and if I magically gain $40. It is definitely worth the money and it is something I have grown to love and now can't seem to live without. You do not even understand how heartbroken I am that I have finished my tube, I feel like I have lost a friend, a loved one, a family member. Okay enough with the dramatics. Seriously though, this is THE best face mask I have ever used and I would love to see if anyone has anything better. The results I got from this product are some that I would have never even dreamed of and I am so grateful that I found this product. I definitely recommend it to you all.

Punk/Scene Makeup, Hair and Outfit!| Casssheww

THIS IS MY FIRST MAKE UP TUTORIAL!
Since this is my first tutorial I just wanted to do something that was completely different from what I usually do so I could try creating a look myself and just see how it turned out. So I created a very easy, wearable, dark make up look which is inspired by my best friend, Natalie, who is heavily into hard core bands, even though she would argue that Sleeping With Sirens is not hard core at all, but this is about the look so yes this is inpsired by her.
Please watch and tell me what you think, if there is something you think I could improve on and please dont be scared to request some tutorials! I would really love to do more of these :)

Thank you for reading!
Hope you have a good day! :)

L'oreal Shine Caresse Lip Stains Review| Casssheww

Hello! It’s been a while since I’ve lasted posted on my blog and I am very sorry. I wasn’t aware that Blogger was blocked in China which made me very sad because I couldn’t post and keep up with all my favourite blogs but on the plus side I was able to do a lot of shopping! If you haven’t seen my hauls from what I got in china then you should go check them out, I did a haul on beauty and on fashion.

One of my favourite items that I got from China are the L’oreal Shine Caresse Lip Stains.

“The next generation lip colour, that combines the texture & shine of a gloss with the long wear of a stain. Delivering a lasting colour with a subtle glossy shine.”

These are apparently a dupe for YSL's Glossy Stains. I have been seeing these a lot lately and I have been wanting them for quite a while but in Australia they are $22 which is ridiculously expensive, especially for a lip product. But since I had enough money in china I decided I would get some of them.

I picked up these two colours:
Bonnie

901 Bonnie is an orange-based tan shade. Kind of like a tangerine coral colour. I find that the pigmentation varies depending on which shade you get but this one is s a relatively pigmented colour from the first swipe.
And Juliette

702 Juliette is a bright cherry red with strong pink undertones. It applies quite vividly on the first swipe.
Disclaimer: I know in the pictures they look very very similar but I applied Juliette first and then tried to wipe if off after taking the picture but it had already stained my lips so Bonnie doesnt look any different... (just proves how well this product works!)
I really love both of these and I am looking to buy more of these (you know, when I get money and stuff...). These are probably my favourite lip products ever. These are good for days when you just want a little colour on your lips and you dont want to put in a lot of effort making it into a perfect shape on your lips and all that stuff. They are said to have up to 6 hours of moisture. I agree that they do last a very long time, probably at least half the day even when you have been eating and drinking they will still last, but I am not too sure about the moisture, it isnt too dry and it is still moisturising but I would still advise wearing lipbalm before applying this. They are a bit sticky when applied but when you let it dry for a bit they turn into a matte kind of formula which stains your lips. The applicator is a doe foot and it is designed for you to be able to get out more of the product onto the applicator so it is easier to apply. It is kind of like applying a lip gloss that turns into a shiny lipstick, that is the best way I can describe the feeling and the look of it.

Shine Caresse claims to offer the long-wear of a lip stain with the shine of a lipgloss in the convenience of a tube. The packaging is in a gold tube which makes it look quite elegant which makes it look like it is from a high end brand and not from the drugstore. Warning: It is very easy to get a fingerprint on the package, so be careful!

I hope you enjoyed this review and it helps with your decision of buying this product or maybe you just wanted to read something. I really do enjoy doing reviews and I have a lot more planned but I do like to take a while to test out products so I can get an accurate and honest opinion for you guys so yeah please stay with me.
 Thanks for reading!
Have a good day! :)

FOTD&OOTD| Casual shopping day

I haven't posted in a while and I was kind of missing taking pictures and writing stuff for my blog so I thought why not make a outfit and face of the day post. My last fotd&ootd post was quite popular so I wanted to do another one. If you haven't seen the other post I just showed you my make up and outfit for my mothers 50th birthday party so you can go look for that or click this. I also did one for my birthday if you want to check that out. Today has no special occasion but I thought why not show you my sort of everyday look. I thought I was going out shopping today with my mum but then she stood me up (what a lovely mother) so I was just left watching youtube videos at home so I pretty much put on make up for nothing but I do enjoy putting it on even for no reason so thats okay.

Here is my face for today:

I went for a really defined eyebrow today because I felt like I have been neglecting my essence eyebrow pencil since I have discovered filling in my brows with mac omega eyeshadow and I missed using it and the look it gave me so I thought I would use it today. I also wanted to use a pink lip because I wanted this to look young, innocent and fun. Here is the list of make up that I used:
Foundation: Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation
Concealer: Mac Studio Finish Concealer NW20
Lipstick: Rimmel Kate Lipstick 16
Mascara: Covergirl Hydrofuge Volume Mascara Waterproof (In a orange tube)
Eyebrows: Essence Brow Pencil Medium
Eyeshadow: Mac Naked Lunch
Blush: Rimmel Pink Rose Blush

I felt it was necessary to add a closeup of my eyes so you could see the make up a bit better. I made sure to apply the mascara as close to my lashline as possible so it gave the effect of my wearing eyeliner so it looked like I had a thick lashline.

Outfit:

For my outfit I was just going for a comfortable look that still made it look like I put in effort into my outfit and that was still very cute. It was very cold outside so I later put on a white knit sweater over the top with the collar poking out over the top of the sweater. I picked this up from a bargain market from China. If you want to see the rest of the clothes I got from China please check out my Fashion Haul which is on my youtube channel (Casssheww) or in my previous blog post there is a link. Also make sure to check out my Beauty Haul as well as I got a lot of cool makeup in China as well.
But back to the outfit, I just paired this top with some black leggings just for comfort and warmth. I think this outfit is just the perfect lazy day outfit that is also suitable for going out and going shopping with friends or something, just a casual activity. I love tops with collars a lot and I especially love the floral print on the rolled up sleeves I think it looks so cute and this outfit is very very comfortable.
I also have a wristband on my right hand that I got from BriBry and it is a bright orange and says "#CutCakeNotWrists" which I really love and it is my new favourite thing ever. Also my nails match my wristband which, I have to add, I did not do on purpose.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I really love doing Face and Outfit of the day outfits because I think it is a fun way for you guys to get to know my style and how I like to do my make up to match with my outfit and things like that.
Thanks for reading!
Have a good day! :)
