FOTD&OOTD: Mad Hatter Dress Up Day| Casssheww
Hey guys if you are not aware about Book Week it is pretty much a week where everyone talks about books and just yeah I don't really know the purpose of the day but for one of the days in the week we are allowed to dress up at school. I had been thinking about this costume for a while and I got most of the inpsiration from MacBarbie07's video that she did about The Mad Hatter, she did a make up and outfit inspired tutorial which I found very helpful. I also hand made the hat, which was a lot of fun.
For the make up I looked up a picture of the Johnny Depp version of the Mad Hatter and found this picture; which I found very helpful for this video.
And this is what I came up with:
I wanted to come up with a more subtle and girly look that was wearable and wouldn't need to be fixed up every 5 minutes. Also this was for school so I didn't really feel the need to make this very detailed and fancy, I just wanted to portray the look for The Mad Hatter.
This is the outfit I came up with, I took inspiration from the Mad Hatter's outift in the movie and how he had mixed patterns that did not match at all and looked very messy but also very smart and tailored. I also wanted to create a bit of a colour scheme so I picked the cool colours, mixing dark reds, blues, black and whites.
If you want to see how I achieved this look then please watch my Get Ready With Me video on my Youtube channel

Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque Review| Casssheww
As you all should know by now, I am a huge face mask fanatic. I love experimenting and trying out different products and seeing how they work on my skin. I have written a blog post on some of my favourite face masks which I will link here. But this mask, I would put as number one over all of them. I've had this product for a bit over a month now and I just want to say that I think I am in love. I have been thinking about doing this post for a while but I wanted to test it out for a month and see the benefits it did for my skin.
I purchased this when I was in Hong Kong even though Aesop is an australian brand, it was about $40 Australian Dollars which is quite pricey for a face mask as the other ones I have used have been no more than $20. So this is double the price of the face masks I would usually get. However, I wouldn't spend any less on it, this product is definitely worth what it costs and I would repurchase this over and over if I could.
The reason for me purchasing this was because ViviannaDoesMakeUp featured it in one of her monthly favourites videos and said the reason for her getting it was because she was getting red scab-like spots on her face that felt like she had stubble, I was experiencing the same problem so I decided I would try it out.
This mask is suited for all skin types and is aimed to remove impurities and refresh the skin. It is an anti-oxident clarifying mask that is designed for deep cleansing. It is recommended to be used twice a week but I used it probably ever other night just because I wanted quick results and wanted to clear my skin faster.
All you need is a thin layer of it and it works miracles on your skin. You just leave it on for 15 minutes and wash it off with cool water. After washing it off, my skin already felt 1000 times better, you can't really see a change in the impurities immediately, but the next morning is definitely a pleasant surprise.
When I purchased this masque, I was also given a sample of the Aesop Parsley Seed Exfoliator which I was instructed to either use on its own or mix with the cleansing masque. When I mixed it will the masque it felt just like a scrub, which I found unpleasant since I was so used to the smooth feel of the masque alone, but the results of these two products mixed together made me forget about those uncomfortable 15 minutes. My skin felt a lot more soft than it would if you used to masque alone, it also removed some of my blackheads!
My skin is not completely clear as it is now... that time of the month so I have gained some pesky little spots. However, before this very pleasant time of month (note the sarcasm), my skin had definitely improved from what it was a month ago.
I definitely want to repurchase this product if I can track down an Aesop store in Perth and if I magically gain $40. It is definitely worth the money and it is something I have grown to love and now can't seem to live without. You do not even understand how heartbroken I am that I have finished my tube, I feel like I have lost a friend, a loved one, a family member. Okay enough with the dramatics. Seriously though, this is THE best face mask I have ever used and I would love to see if anyone has anything better. The results I got from this product are some that I would have never even dreamed of and I am so grateful that I found this product. I definitely recommend it to you all.

Have a good day! :)
